Our Team

Our amazing volunteers bring the Safe Families movement to life in the community, guided by a devoted staff pouring their hearts into supporting isolated families, training and vetting volunteers, and partnering with local agencies to help keep families together!

Our Volunteers

We are fueled by an incredible army of dedicated volunteers, and happily welcome you to join our team! Volunteers serve a variety of roles from hosting children for a temporary period of time to providing services such as transportation, parent mentoring, respite care, and supplying tangible items such as diapers, car seats, and meals.

Our Staff

Brittany Willer

Chapter Director

Email

Brittany joined Safe Families in 2025 as the Church and Community Engagement Coordinator and was soon promoted to Chapter Director in February 2026. She provides vision and leadership for North Central Kansas, equipping volunteers, building strong church partnerships, and collaborating with community stakeholders to support families in crisis.

Brittany brings a strong background in non-profit development, outreach, grant writing, and remains actively engaged in her community as a Board Member for the Salina Area Emergency Aid Food Bank, Vice President of Noon Network Ambucs, and a vocalist on the Crosspoint Worship Team.

She carries a deep, God-given calling to serve the underserved and encourage those walking through difficult seasons. She has a passion for coming alongside others that fuels her work connecting churches, non-profit partners, volunteers, and families helping restore hope, dignity, and stability.

In her free time, Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, or crafting and refinishing furniture, restoring broken things to their original beauty, a reflection of her heart for restoration in the lives of others.

Her personal credo is, “Do the next best thing in faith, with excellence, and for the glory of God,” a principle that guides her in every role she holds. Whether leading, parenting, or serving others, this mindset grounds her in the belief that no matter the circumstance, there is always an opportunity to take the next faithful step – trusting that God goes before her and will be glorified in the outcome.

Alisa Boyles

Church and Family Relations Coordinator

Email

Alisa joined Safe Families for Children North Central Kansas Chapter in April 2026 as the Church & Family Relations Coordinator, where she helps connect churches, volunteers, and families with the support needed to strengthen and preserve families in crisis. She serves with a heart for building relationships and creating pathways for practical care and encouragement within the community.

She brings a background in community engagement, administration, and outreach, with a strong focus on connecting individuals and families to resources that foster stability and growth. Alisa is known for bringing energy, empathy, and intentional presence into every space she enters, with a deep desire to help others feel supported, seen, and valued.

Her passion for this work is rooted both in professional experience and a personal understanding of the foster care system. While she recognizes foster care as an important and sometimes necessary support, her heart is especially drawn to family preservation and walking alongside families so they can remain together whenever possible.

Alisa enjoys spending time with her family, serving in her church, and volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters. In her free time, she can often be found outdoors, caring for her plants, or baking sourdough in her kitchen.

She strives to live by extending grace freely, loving people well, and pointing others toward God in all things, living out Matthew 5:16.

We surround families facing crisis with caring, compassionate community. FIND A CHAPTER
